My passion lies in empowering students to become readers, writers, and learners by providing a customized, personalized, and individualized instructional plan that builds their foundational literacy skills so that they can read, write, communicate, and think.

We are so happy that we were referred to Ari. Our older daughter was struggling with reading in 1st grade, as well as a lack of confidence. While a little slow to warm, she soon LOVED her 1x1 sessions with Ari.
Ari worked with our daughter on building her confidence as it turned out she really could read - just not in front of others! When the most recent school year started, we started our younger daughter as we were anxious given our older daughter's lack of confidence. Ari focused on age appropriate skills for my younger daughter, including some pronunciation work as she has a slight speech impediment. Ari always had time to talk through what I thought they needed to focus on, allay any concerns I had and challenge the girls when she knew they could do more.

We engaged with Ari at the end of Kindergarten because we knew our daughter was struggling with reading. Ari was extremely flexible and met my daughter where she needed. Some days it was hard to keep my daughter engaged the full session, so she quickly pivoted with new ways to keep her focused and make reading fun. We worked with Ari for a year and a half. She taught my daughter the fundamental skills needed to learn how to read then helped her build confidence as she became more fluent. Ari has been an incredible help to our daughter Sloan. We started tutoring in the second half of first grade after our teacher shared that Sloan was slightly behind in reading. From the beginning, Ari worked with her weekly on sounds, blending, and building the foundational skills she needed. Sloan caught up quickly with our weekly Ari sessions.
